Split Ticket By Person



How to split a ticket by person/seat position

1. Make sure that the order has been stored and fired before initiating a ticket split.
3. Press the “Ticket Actions” button at the bottom of the ticket detail view.
4. Select “Split Ticket.”
5. You will be presented with a special screen layout used for splitting tickets. If all of your items were assigned to a single seat position, you will only see one ticket with the items on it.
6. To allocate items to new people on individual checks, touch the item(s) you wish to put on a separate ticket.
7. Once you have highlighted one or more items on the source ticket, you will see a box with a “+” appear. To create a new split, touch the box with the “+” and the item(s) you selected will be moved to the new ticket. Repeat this process for as many people as you need to divide the ticket between.
8. If you make a mistake or need to rearrange one or more items between the newly created splits, touch the item(s) you wish to move and select the green “Move Here” under the desired destination.
9. Once you have completed all of the splits and you are satisfied, press the blue “Split” button at the bottom of the window.
10. The screen will return to the main POS Menu screen and you will see that the ticket has been split into however many tickets you created.
11. The split tickets will be prepended with a number and the original name, indicating that they are all splits of the original ticket.
